Out of all the comedy skits done based on the 2016 election, this one is easily the best. Fake Fox News reporters were sent out undercover to interview supporters of several of the 2016 Republican presidential candidates. Trump was the primary target, but interviews were done with Jeb, Fiorina, Rubio and others as well.
Regular supporters were not the ONLY targets, however. Rick Santorum and Rand Paul also got caught by the fake reporters, not knowing that they were part of a secret comedy skit.
People were asked their thoughts on Obama changing the Pledge of Allegiance to include Mohammed, Ted Cruz shoving a child into a pool, Trump “sterilizing all the Puerto Ricans, until we ‘figure this thing out’,” and Trump dumping a man into a portapotty head-first. Of course, ALL of these “issues” were completely fake but these Republican voters were CLUELESS!
The only people in this segment who are actors are the reporters. These are real people who are really going to vote, and they can’t figure out the difference between obvious comedy and reality. Is it because they are just not too bright? Or, is it because Republicans are so off their rockers that it’s impossible to tell what’s fake and what isn’t? Can’t it be both?
We all need some laughs right about now! Watch what is hands down, the best comedic take on the 2016 Republican primary below:
