After another day of ridiculous tweets – this time criticizing the wrong magazine and then attempting to take credit for Obama’s economy again – Trump really outdid himself with his evening Twitter escapades.
As though people weren’t already convinced enough of his stupidity, Trump decided to weigh in once more with his uninformed opinions on “global warming,” a term that scientists no longer use for precisely this reason.
In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!

It was a tweet so stupid, I was compelled to screencap and archive it here, in case he deletes it.
Resurrecting the old, tired trope used by conservatives to deny climate change for years, Trump once again tried to conflate climate with weather, calling it “good old Global Warming” and complaining about the cold temperatures in the eastern United States. Of course, he then links it – like all Republicans do – to the cost of prevention.
The internet had a pretty good laugh at Trump’s expense.

IS THIS A REAL TWEET? AM I ACTUALLY READING THIS FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES?!

THAT’S NOT HOW CLIMATE CHANGE WORKS YOU DICK.

Are you really this ignorant that you think that since we have a cold winter it means that global warming is bogus?

Just your regular update reminding the world you aren’t intelligent enough to understand science

You don’t know the difference between “weather” and “climate.” Climate Change describes long term impact while weather is a temporary, unpleasant condition like your presidency. pic.twitter.com/yJhx7pUbu4

This may be the dumbest thing that you have tweeted in 2017. And that is saying something.

And my personal favorite suggestion for this dumbass president:
Another possibility would be to launch a space program to land on the sun. Just go there at night.

Dear Donald Trump: If you try to pass this off later as some kind of joke, just understand that we all know you believe this, because we all know you’re an idiot.
