Donald Trump is wrapping up his first year in the White House, a year in which he failed to lead the country on a daily basis. Considering that there are very few polls that actually portray Trump in a positive light, a fundraising committee for President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence has made one final desperate attempt to get some praise for our disgraced Commander in Chief.
To accomplish this, the fundraising committee has placed a ridiculous poll on www.donaldjtrump.com, titled “Official Presidential Job Performance Poll.” In just one glance, you will immediately be able to tell what’s wrong with this poll — the first question is “How would you rate President Trump’s first year in office (2017)?” It’s a question that most Americans would LOVE to answer and blast Trump on — except you can’t. The only options you have to respond are: “Great,” “Good,” “Okay” or “Other.”
And it gets even worse. The second question in the poll is, “How would you rate President Obama’s first year in office (2009)?” This question provides an answer that is conveniently left off the question about Trump — the extra response is “Poor.” This, of course, has outraged Americans across the country, as @ hjortholm responded by calling this out on Twitter with: “#TrumpFakePolls.”

Fortunately, Americans have found a way around Trump’s biased poll, and are giving Trump some harsh feedback in the blank text box marked “Other.”
As if this poll weren’t problematic enough, the survey tricks respondents into giving up their personal identifying info – such as names and email addresses – in order to submit their responses. The website’s fine print says, “by providing your phone number, you are consenting to receive calls and texts, including autodialed and automated calls and texts, to that number from TMAGAC and its participating committees.”

This poll is also linked to on the GOP.com homepage, which asks “Presidential Approval Poll; Where do you stand on President’s Trump’s job performance.” This survey also omits any options for saying negative things about Trump.
Trump is absolutely disgusting in his aversion to criticism. But no matter how much he tries to skew the polls, it won’t change the fact that most of America hates him and knows he will never live up to Obama.
