It’s no secret that acclaimed actor Robert De Niro HATES our fake news “president.” He’s made it pretty clear, especially with his frequent visits to Trump’s LEAST favorite show — SNL.
Last Saturday, in a sketch that most fans of The Sopranos will appreciate, Robert De Niro showed up, playing Special Counsel Robert Mueller and it was pretty uncanny. The sketch centered around a lunch between Trump, his son Don Jr, Rudy Giuliani (played brilliantly by Kate McKinnon), and his “fixer” Michael Cohen. But De Niro stole the scene as the silent, stoic observer — and once again, Baldwin nailed how Mueller must be making Trump feel right about now.
In case you missed it, we have the video:
But it doesn’t end there.
Adding to his feud with Donald Trump, De Niro has announced that he has banned our so-called “president” from all of his restaurants, including Nobu, which is co-owned by renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
According to The Hill, De Niro said that “he would not let Trump eat in his restaurants, and that he would leave any other eatery where the president entered.”
If he walked into a restaurant I was in, I’d walk out.”
We all know that Trump only dines on fast food and over-cooked steaks with ketchup, so it was no surprise that De Niro’s partner at his restaurant Nobu, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa said:
It’s my dream for Trump to sit next to Bob, to make them sushi!”
Trump visited Nobu’s restaurant in Moscow, during the 2013 Miss Universe pageant. You might recall that year… it’s the year the “Pee Pee” dossier was written.
We don’t know if he liked the restaurant or not, but it’s pretty clear that Bob De Niro doesn’t care.
