Most of the country – and even Donald Trump’s fellow Republicans – have been disgusted by the way the President of the United States praised North Korea leader Kim Jong-un after their short summit. Widely known as a brutal dictator, Kim has been showered with so many compliments by Trump that the POTUS’ words are being considered propaganda. This is seen as a major problem by many, but not Trump and his team.
Earlier today, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway went on Fox & Friends to defend the president’s gross, pro-Kim video. Trump had presented the poorly produced video for Kim in order to impress him, and it makes Kim look like a saint. Apparently, to Conway, that’s no big deal and her response could pretty much be summed up as “IDGAF.”
In the interview, the Fox hosts brought up the video about Kim’s regime. Host Steve Doocy asked Conway, “Who’s idea was that? That video, some people love it, some people think it’s kind of crazy — propaganda.”
It came from our National Security Council. Kim Jong-un has a decision to make. He can either be nuclear capable or he can swiftly move towards complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization of the Korea peninsula.”
She continued to defend the president’s poorly received film and said, “Who cares?” as if a positive video about a dictator who tortures his people is no big deal.
Don’t give too much attention to the angry people. Don’t give too much credit to the critics, frankly. Almost who cares? They’re skeptical, they’re cynical.”
Doocy asked Conway what Kim thought about Trump’s little video. He asked, “What did Mr. Kim say when he looked at that video?”
Conway said, “I haven’t spoken to Chairman Kim. But what did he say? Yes — he — yes.”
A sure sign that Trump did way too much a** kissing in the video.
