A group of Nazis thought they would rebrand themselves by deeming its group to be “anti-communist” then announced it would hold a torch rally in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 28th, but the event was canceled citing “safety concerns.” You know, because we are the snowflakes, right? The rebranding of “Unite the Right” was obvious as the group announced that Richard Spencer, the same man who organized the hate-rally in Charlottesville, would speak at their event. Recently, Spencer canceled the speaking engagement.
The “Anticom” group was going to hold the rally at Marshall Park, near a Holocaust Memorial and a statue of Martin Luther King Jr.
On Twitter, Anticom announced in a sad, sad post that due to “safety concerns, we’ll no longer be holding an event in Marshall Park. This was agreed upon by both organizers and guests.”

Good. Keep your little soirées on the Internet, in the slimy little digital cesspools from whence you came. Nobody wants you in their town.

The hate-rally was scheduled on my birthday (that’s not a hint to send me lavish gifts, but I won’t say no), so naturally, my husband said, “Road trip!” Thankfully, the hate-rally is canceled so we’ll make other plans. Throwing a “Good night, Alt-Right” party would be much more fun to honor the demise of Donald Trump’s “very fine people.”
